Review account-based eligibility guidelines
Some account types or states may limit Google One eligibility.
- Age restrictions: You must be 13 (or the applicable age in your country) to become a Google One member. There may be additional age-based restrictions for certain Google One benefits.
- Family groups:
- The family group manager can have an individual Google One membership.
- If a family group already has a Google One family membership, group members cannot subscribe to their own individual Google One membership.
- Individual Google One members can join a family group and receive Google One group membership, but should cancel their individual membership to avoid double-charges.
- Google Workspace accounts: Google Workspace accounts are ineligible for Google One. You must use a personal Google account.
- Google Play account issues: If you have a Google Play account hold or other issue, you may be ineligible.
