Free and fast shipping annotations let you showcase products that you can ship quickly and reliably to customers. To participate, your shipping must be:
- Free: You ship the product at no cost to the customer (or at no cost if the product price meets a minimum basket value).
- Fast: You deliver the product to a customer within a specified time (which varies by country).

You can show free and fast shipping annotations for your products showing in Shopping ads, and free listings. Before doing so, you need:
An active Merchant Center account with products in the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
Active products in your Merchant Center account that you identify as free and fast.
- You can opt in all your products or just a subset.
- You can offer nationwide coverage or limit it to specific postal codes.
Shipping settings configured for free and fast shipping.
- You can do this at the account level or for each product using the shipping
[shipping]attribute in your data source. You can also change shipping settings using the Merchant API.
Product pages and checkout pages that clearly mention free and fast shipping.
- For eligible products, the checkout page must have at least one shipping option that meets the free and fast criteria.
- Product landing pages must not show shipping information that contradicts the free and fast shipping option.
- The shipping speed you add to Merchant Center must match what’s on your online store. If you can’t match it exactly, overestimate the delivery time in Merchant Center. Also, make sure to add the shipping label
[shipping_label]attribute in your data source to products eligible for free and fast shipping. This value should match the shipping label set up in your Merchant Center account.

Option 1
After you configure your shipping settings for free and fast shipping, Google automatically verifies them by reading data from your product pages and checkout pages.
Option 2 (US only)
You can also verify your shipping settings by providing historical shipping data. You can link to a partner or manually upload a file. Learn more about linking a partner with your Merchant Center account.
