Google Play Academy is free to developers, business people, and marketers of Google Play apps and games. Play Academy enables opportunities for new and aspiring app makers, shares knowledge and best practices to build a successful app or game business, and keep developers updated on changes in our tools.
Google Play Academy is an online learning platform with over 100 courses available to help you build a successful app or game business. Courses are designed to be taken in under 10 minutes. Courses are organized in categories based on the typical app and game "development steps" like Design, Launch, and Grow.
Google Play Academy's courses contain knowledge and best practices to help you build a successful app or game business. Google Play Console is the tool you'll use to manage, prepare, and distribute your Android app or game on Google Play.
Courses are offered in 10 languages to anyone with a Google Account. Currently we support the following languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian.
Google Play Academy is available at no cost.
Support and account management
First, Sign in to Google Play Academy. You can discover content within the learning "categories" (Design, Prepare, Launch, etc). You can also view the entire "Course Catalog".
All content on Google Play Academy is available only on the online learning platform. You can share courses with friends or colleagues by clicking the "Share" link on the course launch page.
Google Play Academy works with all current web browsers, and can be accessed on most mobile devices.
Sorry to see you go. To delete your account, please navigate to your profile in Google Play Academy, and click on the 'Delete account' link at the bottom of the page. You will then receive two prompts asking you to confirm if you'd like to delete your account. This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. Keep in mind, deleting your Google Play Academy Account will not automatically delete your Google Account.
Google Play Academy account defaults to UTC. You can update your timezone within your Google Play Academy profile. To update, navigate to your profile, click 'Edit Profile', and select your timezone from the drop-down menu.
